During a large Roundtable event hosted by Trade & Investment Queensland in Brisbane, the Managing Director of Duratray International, Marcelo Medel presented information regarding the company’s expanding activities in Russia and adjacent countries over the past five years.
The VIP Roundtable was hosted by TIQ in honour of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Australia, Dr Alexey Pavlovsky and his team from Canberra.
During recent years Duratray has built-up an enviable list of new clients in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. This has been based on local manufacture of steel components of dump bodies in Russia using carefully evaluated local steels, combined with new high-efficiency dump body designs which have provided 5%-15% productivity improvements compared to traditional designs.
